We not only saw a beautiful country, but also learned a great deal about its colourful history and culture. The B&B on Islay at Bowmore was one of the most charming I've ever had the pleasure of staying in, its view of the sea. Inveraray had a bar with  impressive selection of highland malts.  Just across the street they had a malt store which carried an impressive selection of malts. I was fortunate to find a rare malt I had been looking for without success. I would not hesitate to recommend this trip to anyone. Canada
